Chapter / Tribe Presentation The Expertise, Performance and Automation Chapter is responsible for three main activities: Performance testing of managed applications Automation of functional and non-regression tests Synthetic monitoring of applications in production The beneficiary aims to implement several enhancements to its technical foundation and seeks the Providers expertise in functional and non-regression test automation. Profile Main Missions and Activities Within this framework, the mission consists of contributing to: Defining the project and scoping the needs for automated functional testing Establishing the test strategy according to identified needs Assisting the project on the functional testing scope, providing QA coaching if the project is autonomous on Tosca, and promoting test value through feedback and experience sharing Supporting the team lead on all types of activities Maintaining a non-commercial relationship with the software vendor (currently Tricentis, publisher of Tosca Test Suite): incident tracking, consulting, etc. Administering the automated functional testing infrastructure with Tosca Test Suite: troubleshooting, operational maintenance, capacity monitoring Maintaining documentation bases, relationships, and collaboration with experts Scope of intervention: Applications of the IT department. The diversity of supported projects results in heterogeneous application profiles being tested: Web UI tests, Mainframe UI tests, API and web services tests, document generation/control tests (e.g., PDF). Expected Deliverables Estimation and documentation of automated functional test strategy Creation of test cases in Tosca Test Suite and setup of Continuous Testing pipelines with Jenkins and Xray Advising autonomous entities on best practices Demonstrating the benefits of test automation to project entities and validating ROI for automating manual tests Assisting third-party entities Implementing automated tests on Tosca Test Suite: strategy, troubleshooting, test report validation Implementing Continuous Testing Soft Skills Collaboration and teamwork Rapid learning ability Problem-solving skills Adaptability Time management Communication skills Promotion and evangelization of Quality approaches Positively challenge project teams by being a proactive contributor
