Your tasks
We are looking for a professional with proven experience in data management, with technical knowledge of goods, software, technology or services related to the automotive industry.

As a part of our team, you will:

  • Participate actively in organize structures and processes;
  • Establish cooperation and actively participate in developing processes for master data ramp-up with PUR, R&D, Industrial Engineering;
  • Participate in the developing and designing of IT environment necessary for integration of master data into our EPR and GTS Landscape.
  • Advise Purchase Department (PUR), Sales, Industrial Engineering, R&D or others in EC&S master data matters.
  • Assess R&D developments in alignment with the central Classification Team.
  • Monitor accuracy of new or changed master data.
  • Export control classification-analysis of global automotive items like goods, software, technology, services…) that are transferred across international borders (Dual-use).
  • Classify all production gear, machinery, testing units/equipment, and spare parts that are potentially transferred to new locations, relocated (line transfers, internal supply) (Dual-use).
  • Support automated EC controls by the IT systems (SAP).

Your profile

  • Degree or solid technical foundation in Engineering fields, System Management, Transport and Logistics, Electronic Systems, Computers or similar.
  • 3-5 years of experience in data management or a related field (preferred)
  • Broad technical understanding at an expert level; strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex technical data sets.
  • Proficiency in office applications, SAP and ERP at an advanced level.
  • IT affinity at an advanced level.
  • Fluent in English

Additional skills

  • Experience with export control and/or customs-related classification of goods, software, and technology.
  • Knowledge of export control lists and the systematics of export control.
  • General understanding of non-proliferation regimes and regulatory functioning.
  • Awareness of interdependencies of third-country laws and jurisdictions.
