In this role, you will dedicate a significant portion of your time to two key areas: Tariff Classification (according to EU and non-EU schemes) and Export Control Classification. 🌎 Your Role: As an Export Control, Sanctions, Tariff Classification Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring BOSCH Group’s compliance with international trade regulations. Your expertise will help us navigate complex export control laws, classify goods and software, and manage sanctions regimes 🚀 Your Impact: Perform tariff classification under EU and non-EU schemes. Classify physical goods, software, and technology, with a focus on dual-use products, in accordance with EU, US, and other relevant export control regulations. Conduct de-minimis calculations for US content. Screen business partners against sanctioned-party lists. Manage export licenses, sanctions, and exporter declarations. Work closely with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders. Stay ahead of the game by keeping up with evolving export control laws and other foreign trade regulations. Qualifications 🛠 What You Bring: Strong understanding and proven experience in export control and tariff classification. Proven experience in trade compliance or product engineering, ranging from 1-3 years for junior levels to extensive experience for senior and expert positions. Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings. Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. Advanced English proficiency (German is a plus!). Experience with ERP systems (SAP, GTS) is a bonus. Great communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
