We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Export Coordinator to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the export process, ensuring compliance with regulations, and coordinating shipments efficiently. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with export regulations and documentation processes is a plus.
• Proficient in using MRP systems and RF scanners for inventory management.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be able to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Coordinate all aspects of the export process, including documentation, compliance, and logistics.
• Prepare and review shipping documents such as bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate packing and labeling of goods for export.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage stock effectively.
• Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks and reach trucks for loading and unloading shipments.
• Monitor shipment schedules and communicate with carriers to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory using AS400 or similar software.
• Assist in resolving any issues related to shipments or customs clearance.
