JOB SUMMARY:

Worldwide Waste Management Ltd are looking for a highly organised Export Coordinator to manage and oversee the export operations of plastic and scrap materials. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling documentation, coordinating shipments, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and liaising with suppliers, shipping agents, and customers.

Responsibilities

· Coordinate the export process from order placement to final delivery.
· Prepare and verify export documents such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
· Ensure compliance with international trade laws, environmental regulations, and customs requirements.
· Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping companies, and customs brokers to arrange transportation and clearance.
· Track shipments and provide updates to clients and internal teams.
· Communicate with suppliers and buyers to ensure smooth transactions and resolve any issues.
· Manage logistics costs, negotiate freight rates, and optimize shipping schedules.
· Maintain accurate records of shipments, export licenses, and regulatory approvals.
· Assist in resolving any customs or shipment-related disputes.
· Work closely with sales, procurement, and warehouse teams to meet export targets.
Requirements:
· Proven experience as an Export Coordinator or in a similar logistics/export role.
· Knowledge of export documentation, customs procedures, and international shipping regulations.
· Experience in handling plastic and scrap material exports is preferred.
· Strong communication and negotiation skills.
· Ability to multitask and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and logistics software.
· Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
· Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification in logistics, supply chain management, or international trade is an advantage.
