We are looking for an Export Customer Services Clerk to coordinate ocean export shipments worldwide for our valued clientele. This role involves overseeing the complete logistics process, from arranging global consignments and managing shipping documentation to invoicing and ensuring smooth customs clearance.
The role will be based in our Rainham office (RM13 8EU). You will work three days remotely, with Wednesdays and Fridays in the office. The salary is between £30,000 and £38,000 per annum (DOE).

Key Responsibilities:
1) Raise scheduled bookings, issue booking confirmations, and input files into Yusen’s file operating systems for both FCL and LCL.
2) Liaise with transport companies and shipping lines to arrange collections for FCL and LCL.
3) Coordinate prompt and accurate customs clearance.
4) Complete and dispatch house bills and pre-alerts accurately within 5 days of sailing.
5) Ensure precise invoicing at the initial data entry to support accurate financial records.
6) Provide effective customer service both internally and externally, resolving issues early and recognising when to escalate concerns to management.
