QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor degree required;
  • Minimum one year Logistics experience with focus on ocean freight. Experienced with forwarding specific processes;
  • Experienced in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.);
  • Ability to work effectively in a customer driven environment, both individually and as a team player;
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, meticulous and result-oriented;
  • Fluent spoken and written English (academic qualification preferred);
  • Good interpersonal skills (communication, people understanding, patience, stress resistance);
  • Attention to details;
  • Ensures a great collaboration between our internal parties ( origin/destination offices).
Responsibilities
  • Achieves individual and team objectives set by SLA (Service Contracts) and KPI (Key Performance Indicators);
  • Ensures data entry and maintenance in TMS (transport management tool);
  • Sends bill of lading (B/L) transfer to the carrier;
  • Corrects, changes the B/L approval with the customer, carrier and bank;
  • Monitors vessel departure and updates TMS;
  • Sets events and document uploads;
  • First point of escalation for branches and/or customers;
  • Responds to the team member’s requests regarding TMS issues;
  • Distributes tasks and ensures guidance of processing specific tasks to Junior FTEs;
  • Monitors the quality of Junior FTEs tasks;
  • Translates SOPs in clear DTPs;
  • Implementation of new business or processes and handover to Junior FTEs when the business implementation is secure;
  • Best practice sharing with Quality Manager and Operations Manager;
  • Gather requirements for automation, testing, and implement new solutions;
  • Exports pre-alerts and credit notes to network partners;
  • Attends strategic discussions for business scope increase;
  • Participate in periodic calls with customers: Operational calls / Service review meetings.
