Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle end-to-end documentation for export and import shipments (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, etc.).
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, and transport companies for timely shipments.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and company policies.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate shipping and customs records.
  • Negotiate freight rates with service providers to optimize costs.
  • Liaise with suppliers, buyers, and internal teams to meet delivery schedules.
  • Monitor shipment tracking and resolve any shipping or customs clearance issues.
  • Manage letters of credit (LCs), payment terms, and banking documentation for international trade.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of export/import activities to management.
  • Stay updated with changes in international trade policies, Incoterms, and HS codes.
  • Coordinate insurance for shipments and handle claims in case of damages or losses.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in export/import operations or logistics.
  • Knowledge of customs procedures, documentation, and international shipping regulations.
  • Familiarity with Incoterms, HS codes, and trade finance instruments (LC, TT, etc.).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple shipments simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
