REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

• Experience completing and submitting key returns (RDS preferred)
• Experience developing processes and approaches to new regulatory requests
• Experience managing multiple workstreams
• Experience managing multiple deadlines
• Knowledge of key regulatory reports and submissions, notably Lloyd’s RDS and supplementary and BMA’s BSCR
• Knowledge of regulatory minimum standards and expectations

ROLE OBJECTIVE:

This is an important role, supporting Aspen’s exposure management capabilities within man-made cat. Analysing risk information and developing insights for insurance and reinsurance for internal and external reporting. For this role, exposure management refers to the management of risk accumulations from a wide range of man-made perils to which Aspen may be exposed, including (but not limited to) casualty, cyber, terror and others.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the completion and submission of all regulatory and agency reporting and submissions for the team.
• Manages reporting timetable for internal and external reporting, ensuring data inputs are available.
• Completes management review and approval processes, including ensuring movements are understood and rationalised.
• Act as subject matter expert on all reporting, providing guidance and interpretation as required.
• Actively inputs into methodologies and views of risk to ensure regulatory expectations are met.
• Owns and maintains the man-made Principles Based Oversight for Syndicate entity.
• Updates and maintains Exposure Management policies, procedures and frameworks
