JOB SUMMARY:

The Express Lane Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Express Lane, supervising Lube Technicians, and ensuring that all quick-service maintenance tasks are performed efficiently and up to company standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent customer service skills, and a solid understanding of automotive maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Previous experience in an automotive service department, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using service management software and basic computer skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support the Express Lane and Lube Technicians to maintain high efficiency and productivity.
  • Oversee the quality of quick-service maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and inspections.
  • Ensure all technicians follow proper procedures, safety guidelines, and company policies.
  • Train and mentor Lube Technicians to improve skills and performance.
  • Monitor workflow and assign tasks to maximize efficiency.
  • Maintain inventory of necessary supplies such as oil, filters, and other maintenance products.
  • Work closely with Service Advisors and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as technician efficiency and service times.
  • Assist with hands-on service work when necessary to support the team during peak times.
