EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, will be highly regarded.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Power BI: At least 35 years of hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Report Server.
• DAX (Data Analysis Expressions): Proficiency in writing DAX queries for data analysis and building metrics.
• Power Query (M Language): Expertise in using Power Query to transform and clean data.
• SQL: Strong experience in writing complex SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
• Data Modelling: Solid understanding of data modelling concepts, including star and snowflake schema, and best practices for efficient Power BI reports.
• ETL Processes: Experience in designing and implementing ETL processes, ideally involving cloud data sources.
• Cloud Integrations: Familiarity with integrating Power BI with cloud services (e.g., Azure, SharePoint) is a plus.
• Version Control & Deployment: Experience with deploying Power BI reports to production environments using Power BI Service.
• Microsoft Fabric: Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric for data engineering, data integration, and analytics workflows. Experience with integrating Microsoft Fabrics data lakes, data pipelines, and data factories into Power BI solutions is highly desirable.

SOFT SKILLS:

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders and translate their needs into technical solutions.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
