Expression of Interest Team Lead NSW – Contaminated Land Management WSP’s Sydney-based Contaminated Land Management (CLM) team has strong pipeline of major infrastructure, urban renewal and redevelopment projects, and presents a unique opportunity for experienced contaminated land professionals ready to step into a team leadership role. We are seeking Expressions of Interest from senior CLM practitioners in New South Wales, particularly those based in or near Sydney, who are motivated to lead people, influence delivery outcomes, and help shape the future capability of our contaminated land team. About the role As a Team Lead, you’ll play a key role in supporting projects across metropolitan Sydney and broader NSW, spanning transport, infrastructure, property, energy and government sectors. You’ll lead a Sydney-based team of contaminated land professionals, working closely with state and national leadership to: * Lead, mentor, and support a team of CLM professionals, including acting as the first point of contact for day-to-day people matters and professional development * Foster and support an engaged, inclusive, and high-performing team culture * Balance local project delivery with national capability sharing * Support resourcing across a strong NSW project pipeline * Maintain close relationships with NSW regulators, clients and stakeholders * Provide technical oversight across site investigations, risk assessments, and remediation programs * Support utilisation targets, financial tracking, and project governance * Champion best practice QA, SHEQ, and internal systems   The Team Lead role typically represents ~15% of your time, allowing you to remain hands-on in technically complex CLM projects.   About You You’re a respected contaminated land professional with a passion for leading others. You may already be performing a similar role, or you might be looking to step into a team leadership role.  You enjoy balancing technical delivery with people leadership and are motivated by developing the next generation of practitioners.
