CIMIC Group is seeking a highly experienced Occupational Health & Wellbeing Manager to lead and continuously enhance the organisation’s occupational health and wellbeing framework as part of an integrated HSEQ system. This senior role plays a critical part in driving a strong safety and wellbeing culture, ensuring legislative compliance, effective health risk management, and embedding a health and wellbeing framework that support employee health across the Group. This position can be based at any of our CIMIC head office locations in NSW, VIC or QLD. This role is only open to internal applicants at this time.  About the Role The primary purpose of this role is to provide operational leadership and oversight of CIMIC’s occupational health and wellbeing systems, ensuring they are robust, compliant and continuously improving.   Key responsibilities include: * Leading the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Occupational Health & Wellbeing framework within the Group HSEQ Management System. * Developing and implementing effective systems, processes and controls to identify, assess and manage psychosocial hazards in accordance with legislative and regulatory requirements. * Designing and implementing a holistic wellbeing strategy that addresses physical and psychosocial health in the workplace. * Leading the implementation and governance of a coordinated, evidence-based health management program, including pre-employment and ongoing medicals / health monitoring across the Group.   * Managing key medical services and other external providers through contract management.   * Providing expert technical advice and coaching to stakeholders on health risks, supporting the establishment of health management processes for projects. * Ensuring compliance with Australian WHS legislation, regulatory requirements and internal policies and standards. * Driving a proactive, positive safety and wellbeing culture across operating companies, business units and projects. * Supporting effective incident investigation, hazard identification and risk management practices. * Using data and insights to inform decision making, monitor performance and drive continuous improvement. * Coaching and influencing leaders and teams to embed strong health, safety and wellbeing behaviours at all levels of the organisation.   About CIMIC CIMIC Group is an engineering led services, construction and natural resources leader with a proud history dating back to 1899.
