CIMIC is seeking an experienced and high‑calibre Senior People & Culture Advisor to support the development and execution of the Group’s people and culture strategy. This role is critical in enabling strong governance, evidence‑based decision‑making and effective coordination across complex enterprise‑wide people initiatives. Working closely with the Head of People & Culture Strategy, you will provide strategic, analytical and advisory support that bridges strategy and execution—ensuring initiatives are well designed, informed by insights and positioned for successful adoption across the organisation. Due to the nature of the role the successful individual must be based in our NSW office. We are currently only accepting internal applications for this position.  About the Role The primary purpose of this role is to support the development, governance and delivery of CIMIC’s People & Culture strategy by providing high‑quality analysis, frameworks and strategic advisory input. Your key responsibilities will include: * Supporting the development, refresh and articulation of the enterprise People & Culture strategy. * Undertaking research and analysis on workforce trends, people risks, market insights and leading practice to inform executive advice. * Preparing high‑quality strategic materials, including executive briefs, discussion papers, strategic roadmaps and presentations. * Contributing structured insights, options and evidence‑based recommendations to enterprise‑level advisory conversations. * Assisting in the design, review and maintenance of People & Culture frameworks, policies and standards, ensuring governance alignment and clarity. * Supporting policy consultations, impact assessments and endorsement processes across the business. * Maintaining strategic documentation, decision logs and governance artefacts to support transparency and accountability. * Supporting the development of the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) through research, analysis and narrative development. * Mapping and analysing end‑to‑end employee experience journeys to identify priority moments that influence engagement and performance. * Supporting engagement and culture diagnostics through data analysis, insight generation and action planning guidance. * Acting as a key coordination point between the Head of P&C Strategy and stakeholders across People & Culture, enterprise functions and operating companies. * Preparing stakeholder materials, facilitating workshops and capturing decisions, actions and outcomes. * This is a non‑operational role focused on strategy, insight generation and enablement rather than day‑to‑day HR delivery.   About CIMIC CIMIC delivers major infrastructure and construction projects that shape communities, support economic growth and create long‑term value. Our people are collaborative, high performing and committed to making a positive impact across the communities in which we operate.   Key Working Relationships Internal: People & Culture leadership and team members, General Counsel, Legal & Risk, Finance, M&A, Operating Company leadership teams, Project Directors and Managers, Business Unit and project employees.   External: Service providers and vendors, external consultants, EAP, relocation and immigration providers, clients and government departments.   About You – Qualifications & Experience To be successful in this role, you will bring: *  A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Management or a related discipline. * A minimum of 8 years’ experience in senior HR advisory, people strategy, organisational development or similar roles within medium to large organisations. * Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate quantitative and qualitative data into clear insights and recommendations. * Experience supporting organisation‑wide initiatives, transformation programs or complex stakeholder environments. * High‑quality written and verbal communication skills, including the preparation of executive‑level materials. * Sound judgement, discretion and strong stakeholder management capability. * Structured problem‑solving skills and a systems‑thinking mindset. * A collaborative, professional approach aligned to strong governance and safety expectations.
