Auckland One Rail (AOR) operates Auckland’s passenger rail services with safety, integrity, teamwork, and exceptional customer service at the heart of everything we do. We’re looking for two detail oriented and organised individuals as Station Control Assistants to support the day‑to‑day coordination of incident management and performance reporting across our network. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in operational environments, has an eye for detail and wants to play a key role in the reliability of Auckland’s rail system. The is a 12 months fixed term role based in Ellerslie and you must be available across Monday to Sunday covering 10 hour shifts (day time) on a 4 days on and 4 days off basis. We are seeking people who are available to start on 13 April. What you'll be doing: Leading the daily delivery of Incident Management & Reporting processes. Coordinating with Station Control Centre, external and internal stakeholders to ensure clear, timely communication. Maintaining Maximo fault data accuracy which includes logging incidents, verifying classifications (P1–P4), preventing duplicates, and ensuring an audit‑ready record trail. Monitoring performance against contractual KPIs, including escalation compliance. Producing structured daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting, including trend analysis. Identifying risks to KPI compliance and ensuring correct system documentation for all job holds, transfers, and escalations. Supporting internal audits and continuous improvement around incident and fault‑management processes. Maximo experience (essential). High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organisational skills. Experience in incident reporting within rail, infrastructure, or facilities environments (preferred). Ability to work calmly under operational pressure. Strong written communication and reporting capability. Comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and systems (ICS, BMS, asset systems).
