About the role A client facing role, the Solution Specialist, is a technically focused role within the Cyber Growth business unit, reporting to the Senior Solution Specialist. This role is primarily responsible for the deployment and onboarding of security tools and clients into the Security Operations Centre (SOC), as well as supporting client engagements to implement or enhance security tooling. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge security technologies, influence solution design for major clients, and participate in strategic vendor programs that shape the future of cybersecurity services. The role also contributes to pre-sales and deployment support as a Security Solution Architect and participates in strategic vendor programmes such as the CrowdStrike Champions and Netskope Evolve initiatives. Contributes to internal process improvement and documentation. This role offers hybrid working. Location: Role can be based in Wellington or Auckland location. Key Responsibilities Primary duties include: Lead client onboardings, ensuring alignment with client requirements and maintain deep understanding of client environments. Identify opportunities for uplift and improved security outcomes. Provide pre-sales support including solution design, scoping, and client presentations. Participation in strategic vendor programmes including but not limited to CrowdStrike Champions Programme and Netskope Evolve Programme Assist in the development of offerings, solutions, operational initiatives, and processes to deliver specific security outcomes. Design and review of high- and low-level architectures and business cases. Continuous improvement of internal processes and client-facing offerings. Development and delivery of technical reports and documentation. Build strong client relationships and ensure exceptional service delivery Collaboration with other business units to ensure solutions and services meet client expectations. Assist in the development and maintenance of deployment and architecture documentation for Fujitsu Cyber services. Secondary responsibilities may include: Support for the vITSM function in New Zealand, ensuring service delivery and client engagement are aligned. Provide technical support to SOC staff as required. Delivery of security training and enablement. Peer review of technical deliverables. Support for sales and business development activities. Day-to-day duties will be determined by priorities as dictated by contract delivery dates and client needs. In addition to its core responsibilities, the role has several general responsibilities to help deliver cyber security services. These responsibilities include: Preparing and improving systems documentation. Report writing and documentation of technical outcomes. Project management and coordination of engagements. Time and priority management across multiple projects. Assist with the delivery of pre-sales activities including assistance with proposals, statements of work, presentations, customer meetings, and quality assurance (QA) of customer reports. Assist with the delivery of pre-sales and post-sales customer meetings. Manage and meet deadlines or report exceptions. Manage and meet workload commitments. Other tasks as assigned by the Manager or Head of Cyber Growth. Timely communication of engagement progress to all relevant internal and external stakeholders. Security Solutions Architecture, Design and Review. Requirements and Experience Essential Skills & Experience Strong technical engineering background in security tooling (e.g., CrowdStrike, Microsoft, Netskope, Vectra, Darktrace). Experience in solution design and architecture. Excellent communication skills, including being comfortable presenting to customers. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Desirable Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, vendor-specific certs). Experience in SOC environments or managed security services. Familiarity with ITSM processes and tools. Why Fujitsu?
