About the role A client facing role, the Senior Solution Specialist role encompasses presales engineering and solution delivery (deployment) across NZ, ensuring alignment with client needs, market trends, and internal capability. Support the Head of Cyber Growth in achieving the growth strategic objectives for New Zealand. The role is expected to span specialist domains and contribute to the overall development and professional excellence of the business. In addition to its technical specialty, the role includes people management, with two direct reports, and business management responsibilities. To avoid any doubt, it is not expected the role will have a sole focus on team management. This role carries delivery and utilisation expectations, which will be negotiated with the Head of Cyber Growth. This role offers hybrid working. Location: Role can be based in Wellington or Auckland location. Key Responsibilities Primary duties include: Presales and post-sales activities, including client engagement, solution design, and delivery assurance. Development and refinement of security service offerings, including architecture, tooling, and operational processes to deliver specific security outcomes. Includes the development and maintenance of architecture documentation and reusable solution assets. Ownership of solution quality, ensuring security outcomes are fit for purpose and aligned with client and market demands. Foster and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with relevant Fujitsu technical partners including CrowdStrike, Netskope, and Darktrace. Support for internal initiatives including practice development, tooling standardisation, and process improvement. Builds and maintains strong relationships with SOC and ACIRT team. Secondary responsibilities may include: Delivery of security training Onsite ITSM support Peer review and quality assurance of technical deliverables. Day to day duties will be determined by priorities as dictated by contract delivery dates. In addition to its core responsibilities, the role has several general responsibilities to help deliver cyber security services. These responsibilities include: Report writing Project and program management oversight. Time and priority management across multiple engagements and teams. Mentoring, coaching, and performance management. Preparation and delivery of pre-sales and sales collateral and documentation. Management of deadlines, workload commitments, and reporting exceptions. Contribution to internal capability development and knowledge sharing. Client engagement and stakeholder management. Other tasks that may be assigned Requirements and Experience Experience and Technical Technical skills preferably an understanding of system administration/system engineering. Ideally a security background. Excellent written and verbal skills, including being comfortable presenting to customers. Ideally technical knowledge of security tooling includes but not limited to CrowdStrike, Microsoft, Netskope, Vectra, Darktrace. Why Fujitsu?
