What you’ll be doing Within our Business Services team you will support our Partners in delivering high quality accounting services such as tax compliance and client advisory. This may include the preparation of income tax returns, financial statements, business activity statements (BAS) and instalment activity statements (IAS). What you’ll bring Tertiary qualified in a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) or Bachelor of Commerce. Previous work experience in a similar tax accountant role Eligibility for, or currently completing/completed a CA or CPA qualification Self-starter with a detail-oriented approach Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders The ability to think critically, challenge assumptions and solve problems Confidence when communicating and excellent interpersonal skills Strong IT skills and computer skills. You will embrace new technology and have the ability to adapt quickly Professionalism, partnered with an organised and proactive style Self-initiative and hunger to learn – we want you to ask questions, to clarify information and be proactive in your learning and advancement at BDO.
