Description

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Demonstrated customer service or client-facing experience (retail, hospitality, or similar).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service.
  • Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications and willingness to learn CRM systems.
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience working as part of a team to achieve goals or targets.
  • Exposure to product sales to achieve a target.
  • Familiarity with IT products, software, or licensing models
  • Understanding of basic sales processes, quoting, and order management.
  • Experience using CRM systems for sales tracking.
  • Knowledge of cyber security guidelines and cyber centric vendors.
  • Awareness of current technology trends and their business applications.
  • Certificate III or IV in Business or IT (advantageous).
  • Diploma in Business or Information Technology (desirable).

    We are seeking a dynamic Junior Product Sales Associate to support sales growth by assisting with product licensing, managing renewals, and promoting product offerings to customers, while building strong client relationships and contributing to overall revenue targets.
    This is a 7-month fixed term contract and can be based in Brisbane or Canberra.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist senior sales staff with identifying and qualifying opportunities for product and licensing sales.
  • Support the preparation of customer proposals, quotes, and licensing renewals.
  • Maintain accurate sales and licensing records within Salesforce.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, licensing options, and pricing.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure licensing compliance and precise order processing.
  • Monitor customer accounts for upcoming renewals and initiate appropriate follow-up actions.
  • Participate in product and licensing training to build technical and sales knowledge.
  • Contribute to achieving individual and team sales targets.
  • Assist in preparing reports and sales forecasts for management review.
  • Other activities as directed.
