Description Expressive Arts Therapist –Adolescent Mental Health (Part-Time) HavenRise Academy of Jacksonville, FL Bring creativity into healing. Make a meaningful impact with adolescents. HavenRise Academy is a structured, trauma-informed outpatient behavioral health program serving adolescents (grades 6–12) through Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and outpatient services. We are seeking a passionate Expressive Arts Therapist to support our clients through creative, experiential modalities that promote emotional expression, self-awareness, and healing. The Expressive Arts Therapist provides therapeutic services using creative modalities such as art, music, drama, movement, and/or recreation. This role works collaboratively with the clinical team to enhance treatment programming and support adolescents in developing healthy coping skills and emotional regulation. Why Join HavenRise? Your Role Facilitate individual and group expressive arts sessions using modalities such as: Art therapy Music therapy Drama therapy Recreational or movement-based interventions Integrate expressive techniques into treatment plans to support emotional expression, trauma processing, and skill-building Collaborate with therapists, BHTs, and medical staff to support client progress and engagement Adapt interventions to meet the developmental and clinical needs of adolescents Maintain appropriate documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging therapeutic environment Support clients in developing coping skills, self-esteem, and interpersonal effectiveness Compensation & Benefits Hourly Rate: $25 – $40.50, commensurate with licensure, experience and qualifications. 401(k) Retirement Plan Supportive work environment that prioritizes clinician well-being and sustainability Location: Jacksonville, FL Schedule: Part-time up to 20 hours a week between the hours of 8:00 am- 5:00 pm Requirements What We’re Looking For Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Expressive Arts Therapy, or related field. Minimum of 1 year experience providing Expressive Arts Therapy, Art Therapy, Music Therapy, Drama Therapy, Recreation Therapy, or related field. Certification or licensure in a specialty area (e.g., ATR, MT-BC, CTRS, RDT) preferred but not required Experience working with adolescents preferred (mental health setting strongly preferred) Strong group facilitation and engagement skills Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Passion for creative approaches to mental health treatment
