Description St. Charles Borromeo Academy is seeking a part time Extended Care Aide from 6:45am to 7:45am and 2:30pm to 5:30pm (up to 20 hours a week) for our before/ after school program. Experience in an early childhood setting is strongly encouraged. St. Charles Borromeo Academy extends the mission of the Church in forming true disciples of Jesus Christ. Responsibilities Always understand and uphold the teachings of the Catholic Church. The aide positions require that individual care for the physical, social, and emotional needs of the young child while promoting and modeling the mission of the Catholic Church. Work under the direction of the Extended Care Coordinator. Demonstrate professionalism, including confidentiality, when working with administration, staff, parents and children, while promoting positive relationships and effectively communicating with others Manage and set high behavior standards within the classroom and building. Must be physically able to perform the job of a caregiver of young children. Be an active member of a faith community and be a model of the teachings of Jesus Requirements Candidates for positions at Borromeo Academy: Prefer experience within a childcare setting, but not required. Note: All employees are required to consent to a background check, commit to our Code of Conduct policy, and complete online and in-person trainings prior to hire.
