This positions is located in Morgan County, Ohio.
This position will work closely with the Educators in Morgan County to offer FCS programming and work collaboratively with county, region, and state teams of Ohio State University Extension professionals to provide leadership and programming for people across the continuum from birth to death. Programing efforts will focus largely on health, food and nutrition; and financial education and assisting with human and family development and relationships; and addictive issues and behaviors. The Extension Educators Coordinator 3 will collaborate with appropriate schools, agencies and organizations to provide proactive educational programming for individuals, families, agencies, organizations and businesses. Utilize a variety of education program delivery methods and teaching techniques including distance education, electronic media, newsletters, individual and group meetings, demonstrations, and capacity building to accomplish educational goals and to reach target audiences; deliver recommendations and education using the latest research based information; conduct applied research as needed to expand the knowledge base and develop educational publications. May be required to replicate and adhere to existing programs that meet the needs of their local community. Attends relevant FCS trainings, in-services and conferences as needed. Position contingent upon funding availability.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be required. Associate degree in relevant field may be preferred. 2 years of relevant experience required. 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred.
The pay range for this profile is $16.65-$21.77/hourly. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity and unit’s available budget.
