This positions is located in Noble County, Ohio.
Ohio State University Extension (OSUE) seeks an Extension Educators Coordinator to work under the Family and Consumer Sciences Educator to provide leadership and programming for people across the continuum from birth to death. Programming efforts will focus on health and wellness, food safety, financial literacy, youth development, aging programs, employee wellness programs, youth development, volunteer management and fair organization. The program assistant will collaborate with appropriate schools, agencies and organizations to provide proactive educational programming for individuals, families, agencies, organizations and businesses, utilize a variety of education program delivery methods and teaching techniques including distance education, electronic media, newsletters, individual and group meetings, demonstrations, and capacity building to accomplish educational goals and to reach target audiences; deliver recommendations and education using the latest research based information; conduct applied research as needed to expand the knowledge base and develop educational publications. Attends relevant FCS trainings, in-services and conferences as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be required. Associate degree in relevant field may be preferred. 2 years of relevant experience required. 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred.
The pay range for this profile is $16.65 -$21.77/hourly. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit’s available budget, and the candidate’s qualifications.
