Gorilla Roofing & Construction, a family-owned and fully licensed roofing contractor located in the St. Louis, MO area, is currently seeking a reliable and skilled Exterior Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. We are seeking a skilled Exterior Repair Technician to perform repairs and maintenance on residential exterior systems including roofing, siding, windows, doors, gutters, and exterior trim. The technician will inspect exterior components, diagnose issues, and complete repairs using industry-standard tools and materials while maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship. Responsibilities Safely operate and maintain tools and equipment including ladders, scaffolding, drills, circular saws, nail guns, measuring tools, and other hand and power tools. Work safely at heights using ladders and appropriate safety equipment when performing exterior repairs. Document completed work including repair details, materials used, and photos when required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site. Communicate with customers regarding repair findings, timelines, and completed work when needed. Follow company safety procedures and applicable workplace safety regulations. Maintain tools, equipment, and materials stored in company vehicles. Complete assigned service calls and projects within established timelines. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure work is completed efficiently and to quality standards. Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Technical training, trade school education, or certification in construction, carpentry, or a related field is a plus. Previous experience in exterior home repair, construction, roofing, siding, or a similar field preferred. Knowledge of residential exterior systems including roofing materials, siding types, gutters, flashing, and exterior trim. Experience using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other construction equipment. Ability to diagnose exterior issues such as roof leaks, damaged siding, or water intrusion. Physical ability to lift materials, climb ladders, and work at heights for extended periods. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as required. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks effectively. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
