Description
The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority welcomes exceptional talent with a passion to realise the vision and mission of making the West Kowloon Cultural District a prime local and international destination for arts, culture and entertainment. This is a fixed-term contract position of 2-year with possibility for renewal subject to organisational needs and individual performance. You will be responsible for: support engagement initiatives, including but not limited to events/ programmes, for corporate communications and community engagement of the District; assist in coordination with arts and cultural programme partners, District Councils, community groups, schools, NGOs or other government organisations for community outreach collaborations; assist in liaising and strengthening relations with external and internal stakeholders for the organisation of events and delegation visits; working with external agencies, outsourced vendors and community partners on corporate events and public engagement initiatives as necessary; and performing any other duties from time to time as reasonably assigned by the Authority. You should: possess a recognised university degree or above in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or related discipline; have at least 2 years of relevant experience in corporate social responsibility, community engagement, public relations, event management or corporate communications; proven experience in working in public organisation or NGO would be an advantage experience in engaging government bodies, District Councils, NGOs and community groups; have strong interpersonal and communications skills, good team player, multi-tasking, able to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure, creative and dynamic; be able to demonstrate strong attention to detail; have excellent written and spoken English and Chinese; proficient in Putonghua will be an advantage; and able to work irregular hours at weekends and public holidays if required.
