Description
Responsibilities

As our External Communications Manager, you will support our overall ambition to become the partner for sustainable change for our clients and stakeholders. You will play a vital role in ensuring our global campaigns and priority topic agendas land with impact across our region. Topics include for example the green energy transition, sustainable transport and buildings, resilient societies and biodiversity. You will be responsible for planning and implementing comprehensive content strategies (online and offline) and developing localisation to ensure our campaigns and topics resonate with local audiences. You will also play an integral role in the creation of core content with the support of the regional team (such as media releases, local value propositions and messaging, curating event formats etc.) to support implementation. By building strong relationships with key leaders in the business, relevant to the campaigns and agendas, you will gain excellent insight to our clients most pressing agendas to ensure our business delivers an end-to-end Marketing and Sales effort. You will also work with your colleagues in the communications and marketing regional team to finalise plans, deliver the execution, and reporting to ensure we continually improve the effectiveness of our delivery.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • To play a leading role in the localisation of our global campaigns and initiatives.
  • To curate localised content that resonates in the region’s geographies (UK and Ireland, Germany and Asia Pacific)
  • To plan and execute comprehensive localised channel strategies for high-profile external impact of our campaigns and agendas, ensuring compliance.
  • Explore client engagement opportunities to support work-winning efforts.
  • Build solid stakeholder relationships with relevant client-facing stakeholders to support an end-to-end marketing and sales effort.
  • Develop an excellent understanding of relevant key accounts and clients to inform our content strategies and ensure alignment with our clients’ key agendas
  • Work closely with your communications and marketing colleagues in the region (totalling 15), including sparring with the head of comms for each geography, to agree plans and to deliver on them.
  • Work closely with global marketing teams as relevant in the early curation of our campaigns to provide local market insights.
  • Support research as required to understand preferences and behaviours of the regional audience and use insights to inform content strategies.
  • Support the continual improvements of our campaign and content performance.
  • Work closely with global marketing teams to ensure consistency and alignment with overall brand messaging and objectives.
