More about the role This is an exciting job opportunity for you to join Signify as a Communications Manager in Amsterdam with Signify. As Communications Manager for Corporate Communications and Thought Leadership, you will play a key role advancing Signify’s communications strategy and building Signify’s reputation and leadership profile. In close collaboration with the Head of External Communications, you have a leading role to play in developing and executing our communications agenda and thought leadership program. You will work with senior executives and leaders from across the business, as well as a global network of communications professionals at Signify, developing, drafting and updating our leadership narrative, writing op-eds, speeches and ensuring our voice is consistently present where it matters - with a focus on sustainability and innovation. Responsible for delivering a thought leadership plan that supports communications themes and key initiatives throughout the year, with a focus on corporate sustainability and the impact of our innovation. Work with executives, innovation and sustainability professionals to develop and activate thought leadership platforms via articles, op-eds and keynote content creation. Collaborate with our network of global communications specialists to source content from and cascade relevant usable content that supports local communications leaders in Signify markets around the world. Continuously integrate best-practices, outside-in learnings into content strategy and planning. More about you While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening: University degree and 10+ years’ experience communications/public relations (in-house or agency). Passion, experience and demonstrated success in corporate communications and thought leadership, ideally with both in-house and agency experience. Strong understanding of developments in corporate sustainability and international policy and business developments. Solid business acumen and experience working with executives on communications campaigns. The ability to simplify complex information to create compelling messages for different audiences. Exceptional writing, editing and proof-reading skills. Responsible and adaptable to organizational and market changes. Strong organizational skills, with a focus on delivering work on time. Native English speaker and writer with a strong track record in writing high-impact content.
