Description

We’re looking for External Contracts Manager to join our Property Care team where you’ll be taking ownership of a variety of externally sourced contracts which could include windows, doors, roofing, external works, and projects in support of our objective of providing excellent service to our customers.
With experience of the Housing Association environment, you’ll have a pivotal role in ensuring works are delivered in line with financial, contractual, and quality expectations. With the ability to forge strong relationships with our partner providers and the confidence to challenge and push change, you will be at the forefront of driving improvement in the delivery of our services.
With a strong technical knowledge, you’ll also be taking on a variety of maintenance projects requiring more complex or specialist intervention.
We need you to be flexible in this role so you should be able to travel across our whole geography, to sites and contractor meetings, with regular office days to collaborate with colleagues.
You should live within Abri’s geography and be able to commute to one of our primary offices in either Eastleigh (SO50 6AD), Bracknell (RG12 1RF) or Yeovil (BA22 8WN).
If this is the role you’ve been looking for, we want to hear from you!

Silva will operate as a separate legal entity under the Abri Group umbrella before fully transferring in 2024.
We believe everyone has the right to a good quality safe, warm and sustainable home in a community where they can belong, grow and thrive. What does that look like in real terms?

We’re investing £689m over the next ten years in our existing homes to improve building safety and make them more energy efficient.

  • We’re delivering 10,000 homes by 2030, ensuring affordable housing is built where it’s needed most
  • We’re investing in our communities, to address local issues and create opportunities for everyone

As we grow, we’re re-establishing our strong local presence to provide a really good service. Abri has adopted a regional approach to service delivery, with our operating areas split into three, each with their local governance and leadership. This will ensure our colleagues are more visible, accountable and better connected to our customers and local communities to meet their diverse needs.
