EXTERNAL CUSTOMER SUPPORT – KILKENNY / TIPPERARY

Controlled Environments Company (CEC) is a single source supplier and solutions provider to customers operating in critically clean and controlled environments. We are looking for a suitable candidate to manage weekly accounts requirements in the Kilkenny / South Tipperary area.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • At least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Ability to identify customer needs and provide high level of customer service.
  • Experience within a mmanufacturing/warehouse environment with a good understanding of supply chain procedures
  • Confidence to discuss the benefits and features of products.
  • Good communication, organisational and administration skills
  • Flexible and Pro-active attitude
  • Ability to embrace new ideas / initiatives when they arise.
  • Experience of SAP or similar ERP system
  • The ability to multitask and to ensure projects are carried out to a high standard.
  • Experience with and ability to identify customer needs and maximise sales opportunities.
Responsibilities
  • Service an allocation of CEC customers in the area
  • Visit customers on a weekly basis to carry out the Kanban count and put away as well as look after other opportunities on site.
  • Provide cover for other customer support colleagues, and cross train on accounts.
  • Work with external sales representatives on other opportunities being pursued.
  • Build good professional relationships with the customers, whilst carrying out a first-class customer service.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our customer requirement according to their needs and objectives.
  • Handling customer questions, inquiries, and complaints; and assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
  • Increase business by maximising sales & up-selling to each customer.
  • Conduct ongoing stock checks with pro-active approach to maintaining stock accuracy and levels.
  • Meet with potential clients on customer sites to determine their needs.
  • Other ad-hoc on-site sales support tasks as required.
