External Manufacturing Site Leader (EMSL) Contract Manufacturing The Contract Manufacturing Site Leader will lead the contract manufacturing operations with the responsibility of meeting all cost, quality, and delivery objectives. This role will be the primary contact, coordinator, and facilitator for key contract manufacturing suppliers’ performance. The EMSL will own and enable the communication and coordinate tasks between the Contract Manufacturers and the functions within the company to meet contract’s deliverables, provide services, and keep the relationship positive and on track. On any given day, this position will require coordination with Operations. Procurement, Finance and Legal from both Schneider Electric and Contract Manufacturers. Essential Responsibilities of Site Leader: Operates supplier site lines, area or plant that are focused on SE product like a Schneider Electric plant Manager. Single point of contact for all supply chain/operational performance goals, challenges, and roadblocks. Liaison between Schneider Electric Procurement and Contract Manufacturer work cell Collaborates with ALL Schneider Electric impacted sites support functions to drive customer satisfaction, quality, forecast, production. Develop and implement Continuous improvement and cost reductions. Accountable for capacity utilization to fulfill future demand, business continuity, and inventory control Schneider Electric Lead of Capital investments and Business Case propositions Liaison between Offer Creation and R&D, ensuring upstream projects are accounted for on Capacity/Capital investment discussions The position requires the following core competencies: Strong understanding of Contract Manufacturing Understanding of quality systems Material coordination Working knowledge of manufacturing assembly process Procurement experience with Project management / Project Resolution experience. Proven work experience as a Manufacturing/Operations Leader Strong experience in performance management Strong Organizational and communication skills Negotiation and influencing Proven managerial experience and ability to work cross-functionally Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources) EDUCATION – MINIMUM REQUIRED 4 years education in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, MBA desired Minimum 3 years of experience in a Senior Level role in Manufacturing / supply chain / Project Management Advanced English skills
