SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager, to lead the migration of our SAP ECC system to SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale SAP migration projects, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
The Project Manager will be overlooking the SAP vendor and work closely with the internal SAP team.

EXPERIENCE :

  • Minimum experience: 3 successful SAP ECC to S4Hana migrations.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on SAP migration projects.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results on time and within budget.
  • Experience with risk management and quality assurance processes.
  • Experience working with global teams and managing remote resources.
  • Knowledge of change management principles and practices.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS :

  • French – Essential : Documentation, communication with international teams, and understanding technical materials.
  • English – Essential : Documentation, communication with international teams, and understanding technical materials.
  • Dutch – Optional but preferable : Communication with local stakeholders and eventual Dutch speaking vendors.

Responsibilities

Project Planning and Management

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive project plan for the SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams, external consultants, and vendors.
  • Provide clear direction, support, and motivation to team members.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration among all project participants.

Technical Knowledge

  • Knowledge of SAP modules (SD, MM, WM, FI, CS).
  • Knowledge of business end-to-end processes.
  • Knowing the S4Hana migration tools and technical approaches of SAP (SAP Activate, ABAP test cockpit, …).

Risk Management

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and manage project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and update risk management plans as needed.

Stakeholder Management

  • Engage with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for the project.
  • Provide regular project updates and status reports to stakeholders.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and address any concerns or issues promptly.

Quality Assurance

  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements.
  • Conduct regular quality reviews and audits.
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Testing

  • Test Strategy Design: Setting up a test concept and designing the test strategy according to quality goals.
  • Implementation Tests: Conducting implementation tests during the Realize phase of the SAP Activate methodology to ensure that the system works as expected.
  • User Acceptance Tests (UAT): Managing UAT to ensure that the system meets the business requirements and is ready for go-live.

Change Management

  • Organize correct change management and make sure that all the stakeholders are involved in the process.

Training

  • Set up a training strategy and organize accordingly.
