Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The External Repair Supervisor position is based at our Osborne Park Head Office and is Monday to Friday role.
The roles function is to support the Asset Management Group in maintaining equipment reliability and operational continuity while actively seeking and implementing strategies for reducing cost. The supervisor also upholds compliance with organisational governance requirements, safety standards, and quality assurance processes, contributing directly to the achievement of organisational objectives in safety, performance, innovation, and cost efficiency.

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Coordinating all external repairs to AMG rotable and supplier exchange components
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements regarding the external repairs of AMG rotable components
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Overseeing and reviewing planned offsite equipment rebuilds and repairs
  • Providing internal technical support regarding AMG equipment and components
  • Conducting regular review meetings with suppliers to ensure obligations are met, communicate progress, and identify improvements required
  • Ensuring components are repaired to the MRL scope of work standards
  • Inspections of failed iron and critical component failure modes and where practicable, advise the AMG Reliability team and the relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Sourcing and purchasing resources required for the external repair of components where required
  • Developing, maintaining, and updating a component and equipment repair / rebuild register
  • Communicating weekly status reports to all stakeholders regarding the repair / rebuild status of components and equipment (Weekly)
