ABOUT THE EXTERNAL SALES ENGINEER ROLE

The External Sales Engineer is the main sales contact for a range of important and high value accounts across a broad range of sectors to include retail, food, brickworks, recycling and facilities.
Covering a patch from Milton Keynes down to Enfield, this role will continue to nurture existing accounts, continuing to maximise revenue as well as win new business.
Using your technical / engineering background, you’ll act as a bridge between sales and engineering teams supporting customers with your technical knowledge of machinery and how it works and how to make improvements.
You’ll bring lots of energy and credibility that delights our customers to ensure our customers are with us for the long term.
Working Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.
We are flexible around working hours (if you have a request, please reach out!)
No Saturday working is required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AS OUR EXTERNAL SALES ENGINEER

• Visiting and building relationships with new and existing customers.
• Providing technical advice and supporting on our products, including rotating equipment, mechanical seals and components.
• Managing the sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals including presentations and demonstrations.
• Identifying and developing strategies across the geographical area to target new customers.
• Converting quotations into customer orders.
• Collaborating with your team on quotations and enquiries.
