Description

SV Timber, part of the National Timber Group are looking to recruit an External Sales Executive to join the sales team based at Nottingham.
A hard-working, multi-tasker with a strong drive to get it right first time who is able to adapt style and tone to suit our varied-customer base. They need to be able to switch between tasks at short notice as required by the business with a proactive approach to both the core tasks and helping others.
Experience is essential for this role.

Responsibilities
  • Working pro-actively within the sales team
  • Achieve the area sales budget in assigned territory in the assigned area to assist the branch in its achievement of overall monthly and yearly budget objectives, via increased margin & turnover.
  • Prospecting for new customers.
  • Prospecting for new business sectors.
  • Maintaining and developing existing business relationships.
  • Demonstrate sales excellence.
  • Maintain the company CRM system in line with sales management process.
  • Liaising with company management to support and implement growth strategies
  • Controlling and maintaining your allocated customer accounts
  • Increasing the number of trading customer accounts and ensuring that this business grows
  • Ensuring that all customers trade within their agreed credit terms and resolving queries in order to ensure prompt payment
  • Processing orders accurately
  • Answer telephone queries
