Description

:
Great things are happening in the Europe and Australia (EUAU) region. Each day, our 2,500 plus colleagues bring their passion to our offices, manufacturing sites, R&D center, and commercial/distributor markets across Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. We are energized by over 150 years of bringing people together with the food they love. With beloved brands Old El Paso, Häagen-Dazs, Nature Valley, Betty Crocker, Fibre One, Latina Fresh and more, we are on a mission to become the undisputed growth leader in food for EUAU. In a world that’s ever-changing, we look to stay ahead and seek people who share our love of food and are hungry to shape the future.
Job Description:
Are you passionate about supply chain planning and ready to take ownership of high-impact processes? As an External Supply Chain Planner, you will be accountable for driving service, inventory, waste (DDF), and capacity planning for products sourced from our external suppliers. It’s an opportunity to play a central role in ensuring product availability across markets, while leading continuous improvements that raise supply planning performance to the next level.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:

We’re looking for someone with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to turn insights into solutions. You’ll be a clear communicator, able to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, and comfortable influencing across functions. With proven learning agility, you thrive in fast-paced environments, stay proactive in identifying risks, and bring practical ideas to address them. Above all, you’re performance-driven, with a track record of leading or contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that deliver results.

Responsibilities

You will own the end-to-end supply planning process, encompassing product availability management, capacity planning, and inventory optimisation. Your responsibilities will include:

  • External Supplier Management: Serve as the primary supply chain interface between our EUAU supply chain and our external suppliers, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear communication.
  • Replenishment Optimisation: Ensure timely and cost-effective replenishment of stock from external suppliers to our markets, based on accurate demand signals.
  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and mitigate shortage risks, communicating potential issues to market supply planning teams in a timely manner.
  • Performance Monitoring: Measure, track, and analyse key supply chain performance indicators (KPIs), developing and implementing action plans to drive continuous improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement activities within the supply planning discipline, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Target Achievement: Own the delivery of service (CFR), DDF (waste), and inventory performance in line with established targets.
