We are seeking a confident trainer, to join a charity that provides world leading support for people with epilepsy through Care, Research and Advocacy.
We deliver training in epilepsy awareness, seizure management and emergency medication administration to health and social care staff and commercial organisations across the UK. We also work with the public sector, including health bodies and local councils.
You will be responsible for ensuring clients receive a high standard of training to enable them to provide the best possible care to people with epilepsy who they support.
The role involves extensive UK travel, wherever possible we use a trainer living closest to the training venue, (occasional overnight stays may be required), and delivery of training online either online via MS TEAMs or face to face.
Extensive training in epilepsy will be given, and you will have the opportunity to ‘shadow’ an existing member of the team before training independently.
The post-holder will demonstrate our people values of CAIRO (Caring, Accountable, Improving, Respectful and Open), and work closely with the Education, Information and Support Service manager and colleagues to continue to develop a professional training service and deliver its wider objectives.
