RESIDENTIAL SUPPORT WORKER- ASHFORD - CHAMBERLAIN MANOR

Chamberlain Manor is a modern Extra Care scheme enjoying a peaceful yet convenient location, just a short distance from the centre of the popular town of Ashford. There is plenty for residents to do in the area, with a multi-screen cinema, large garden centre, retail park and the Stour Centre all in easy reach.
Set up as Independent Living facilities, our Extra Care units provide a safe and caring living environment for the residents, leaving them free to come and go as they please. Our staff are on hand to support them with their daily living requirements.
We are now seeking a Care Assistant on a part-time basis, to cover weekend shifts either 7am-2pm, 3pm-9pm or 4pm-9pm. This can be as flexible as you like, working at least 1 day, every other weekend.

· Assist with all personal care needs – washing/dressing/toileting
· Medication Support
· Meal Preparation
· Light Domestic duties/shopping when required
· Social and Emotional Support – to include Community outings
· Any additional tasks as needed
You will need to offer:
· Commitment and compassion to the clients and the role itself
· Deliver the highest standard of care, ensuring dignity and respect is shown at all times
· Allow the clients to remain as independent as possible and actively encourage this
· Enjoy working in both a team environment and alone
· Reliability and punctuality
