Extruder Operator
We have a full time vacancy for a bright, enthusiastic and reliable person to join our Factory team at our Lindford factory site. Silex are a leading company in silicone products with high profile clientele, shipping worldwide.
Extruder operator – efficient operation of an extrusion machine. A good eye for detail and a willingness to learn is essential, enjoy a challenge and be comfortable working on your own initiative.
You may also be required to help in other departments at busy times.
Full training will be given.
Position available immediately.
National minimum wage applies.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8 1/4 hours per day
Starting pay from £12.21/hr (assuming aged 21+). Aged 18 to 20 - £10.50/hr.

SUMMARY

As an Extruder Operator, you will be essential in the production process, ensuring the efficient operation of extrusion machinery. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will utilize your mechanical knowledge and skills to optimize production. Your relevant experience with hand tools, materials handling, and basic math will support quality control and assembly tasks. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with silicone extrusion/fabrication would be an advantage but not essential
