Job Details Job Location: Sheboygan, WI 53081 Salary Range: $28.96 - $32.71 Hourly As an Extruder Operator, you’ll be in charge of running mixers, extruders, and related equipment to produce top-quality plastic compound pellets. You’ll ensure the production process runs smoothly while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. What You’ll Be Doing: • Safely operate extruders and related equipment to produce plastic compound pellets. • Set up, tear down, adjust, and operate all aspects of the extruder while performing quality checks. • Keep your workspace safe, clean, and organized. • Complete production and quality reports, pallet tags, and other necessary paperwork. • Direct and assist Material Handlers with their tasks. • Step into Material Handler duties when needed. What You Need to Succeed: • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. • Experience: Previous manufacturing experience required. Extrusion experience is a plus but not mandatory. • Skills: o Strong communication skills (both verbal and written). o Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude. o Problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. o Forklift driving experience is essential. o Ability to lift up to 55 pounds occasionally. Work Schedule: Must be available for 12-hour shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
