Description This is a 3rd shift, overnight position. The successful candidate should have the following experience: Basic math, quality conscious, strong trouble shooting skills, ability to follow all plant safety requirements, ability to operate a forklift, ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure, work in a fast-paced time sensitive environment, interact in a professional manner with other employees. Operate extruders within the extrusion department to maintain production requirements in an acceptable manner. Clean and assemble equipment, grind, blend and load various materials for production lines, maintain good housekeeping practices including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces as needed to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Responsible for the quality of product produced. Will use calipers, pin mikes, and micrometers to measure and document tubing dimensions. Perform additional tasks as required. Requirements Be quality conscious, production oriented and able to work safely and effectively within the established policies and practices. Must be able to use a logical though process to solve and process quality issues as they arise. Must be capable of documenting and completing all required paperwork legibly and accurately. Must be computer literate or have the ability to be trained to reach proficiency levels needed to look up job set ups, die, and mandrel set ups as well as blend sheets.
