Job Description About this opportunity The primary purpose is to Optimise the blow moulding process to make FG products as per production specifications whilst maintaining and improving OEE targets, achieving quality standards, as directed by the Production Co-ordinators/Team Leaders. Available Shift: Night 11:00PM until 7:00AM Your key responsibilities will be to: Optimise the extrusion blow moulding process to consistently meet production specifications and improve OEE performance. Complete all scheduled production tasks, including operating and monitoring blow moulding machines, material handling systems, and automated packaging lines. Perform minor machine setup adjustments and ensure equipment is operating at optimal settings. Maintain strict safety and quality standards, including following Take5 and LOTO procedures, and reporting any incidents or near misses. Support maintenance and mould‑change teams to minimise downtime and ensure smooth production flow. Work both independently and collaboratively with production, quality and engineering teams to deliver high‑quality finished goods. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on Safety, Quality, Productivity and Reliability. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues on the production line to maintain reliability and maximise machine uptime. Your skills and experience To be successful in this role, you’ll have: Experience operating blow moulding machinery or similar industrial equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude — a trade qualification is highly regarded. The ability to identify issues, analyse problems and respond with effective, cost‑efficient solutions. Experience working in a food manufacturing or similar high‑quality production environment. A proactive approach to safety and the ability to work within a strong behavioural safety culture.
