Our client is seeking Manufacturing Helpers to start work immediately in the Brampton/Etobicoke area.
It is a big company that extrudes PET sheet that is used for rigid thermoformed food containers, face shields, etc. Producing rolls that the customer unwinds and converts.

*REQUIRES 7 DAYS AVAILABILITY.

Job Description:

• Responsible in running a PET sheet extrusion line to produce amorphous PET rolls.
• Accountable for material handling, blending, drying, extrusion, gauge profile setup, coating, winding and packaging of the finished rolls.
• Accountable in grinding & shredding scrap generated from the line.
• Housekeeping on the production floor.
• Must be able to lift to 50lbs (23kg).
• Must be able to stand long periods of time.

Shifts:

• 12-hrs continental shifts – 7:00am-7:00pm /7:00pm - 7:00am; must be able to work night shifts).
• Requires 7 days availability.

Pay rate: $20 - $21/hr

Required:

• Must speak, read, and write English
• Safety steel toe boots
• Full - time availability
