JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Extrusion Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating extrusion machinery, ensuring the production of high-quality products while adhering to safety and efficiency standards. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, quality inspection, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

• College graduate with prior experience in a manufacturing environment

• Operate and monitor extrusion machinery to produce products according to specifications.
• Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process to ensure compliance with standards.
• Utilize basic math skills and calipers for precise measurements and adjustments.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
• Collaborate with team members to implement lean manufacturing practices and improve production efficiency.
• Fabricate components as needed using hand tools and CNC machinery.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Proven experience in an extrusion operator role or similar manufacturing position is preferred.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications accurately.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations are essential.
• Proficient in using hand tools and measuring instruments such as calipers.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Labeling rolls & making sure numbers match with IQMS
• Material Management (Flakes, Resin, Consumables)
• Quality (Web, Hazy Roll, Gage, Width, Sample)
• Silicone Level check and ensuring enough Silicone on web.
• Check material levels on dryer and bins
• Make sure temperatures are within spec on the extrusion line
• All consumables should be in correct locations
• Adhering and enforcing policies (PPE, Cell Phone .etc)
• Ensure food safety practices are followed
• Inform supervisor of any non-conformances
