  • Two to five years’ full time work experience, preferably in a professional services environment, including one to two years prior transaction experience (due diligence or M&A).
  • Bachelor level academic qualification(s) in accounting, commerce, finance or law.
  • Strong numeracy and written and verbal communication skills.
  • A positive attitude, curiosity to learn and desire to contribute to a highly motivated team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be involved in all stages of the transaction process from deal origination through to completion, including preparation of marketing materials, buyer research, valuation analysis, and due diligence preparation and coordination.
  • Prepare industry research and market mapping to assist in identifying potential new clients or targets for private equity and corporate buyers.
  • Assist in building financial data books and analysing financial models.
  • Contribute to engagement planning and project management ensure that deliverables meet the project timetable.
  • Build strong client relationships and engage with transaction stakeholders and advisers.
