SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS

  • Modelling: Strong numerical and analytical skills, including intermediate to advanced level of financial modelling skills and usage of tools such as PowerBI, VBA, SQL, etc. The role will also require excellent leadership and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to translate technical expertise into business opportunities.

  • Education: A degree in finance, economics, accounting, business or other relevant field, with demonstrated aptitude in financial analysis. Possessing a CA, CFA or equivalent credential.

  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of relevant financial modelling experience ideally within the professional services or financial services environment. Candidates with experience in leading and developing high quality teams are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead financial modelling and analytics projects for various purposes such as investment planning, mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, tax and regulatory compliance, restructuring, reorganisation, and corporate strategy.
  • Take ownership of project delivery within each team, managing multiple projects at once while providing senior level guidance to team members on performing detailed financial analysis and generating high quality deliverables (e.g. financial models, reports).
  • Think critically, identify issues, and propose strategies related to the advice being provided.
  • Build strong working relationships with your clients, understand their issues, anticipate future opportunities, and develop solutions to meet their needs.
