Description

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are currently seeking to expand our fast-growing strategy team in Ireland with a Senior Manager. This is a truly unique opportunity where you will get the chance to take a leadership role in shaping the future of the EY-Parthenon Strategy practice in Ireland. You will also get the opportunity to play a leadership role in setting the strategic direction of some of Ireland’s largest organisations.
At EY-Parthenon Strategy we aim to develop outstanding leaders who deliver on our promises to all of our stakeholders, and in so doing, play a critical role in building a better working world for our people, our clients, and our communities. Your development at EY-Parthenon will be the result of the experience gained through a broad scope of high-impact engagements, 1-1 mentoring with senior leadership, and a formal training programme designed to suit you at each stage of your career and help you to develop the skills needed to maximise your effectiveness as a trusted advisor. EY-Parthenon invests heavily in the professional development of its consultants, acknowledging the unique needs and motivations of our team members.

Some examples of the type of work you will be involved in include:

  • Working with senior leaders at clients to help them develop their corporate strategy – this could include defining the organisation’s purpose, outlining its strategic objectives, identifying key customer segments, planning to enter new geographies, building new go-to-market approaches, mapping the capabilities required for success, and tracking performance.
  • Conducting deep data analysis to help our clients drive their growth strategy over a 3/5/10 year horizon. This requires analysing market trends, customer and competitor dynamics and developing options for growth of the business.
  • Delivering commercial due diligence to support M&A transactions, on both the buy-side and the sell-side, which requires comprehensive analysis to determine the attractiveness and viability of potential investments, to support the decision-making process.
  • Conducting business development activities to win new work. This includes both writing proposals to outline how our services can support clients, as well as identifying potential opportunities with existing clients.
  • Developing a community within the team by building offerings and initiatives, writing thought leadership, getting involved in recruitment, supporting internal team activities, etc.
