Egypt Education Platform is excited to announce an opening for the position of EYFS Homeroom Teacher for the academic year 2026-2027 at one of our renowned schools, GEMS British International School in Madinaty. We are looking for a passionate educator who is committed to creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for our youngest learners. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver an engaging EYFS curriculum that promotes holistic development and early learning. Foster a secure, friendly, and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages children to explore and express themselves. Assess and document children’s progress regularly and communicate findings to parents to support their child's development. Encourage familial involvement in the learning process by maintaining open lines of communication with parents and guardians. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and share best practices. Participate in continuous professional development to stay abreast of current teaching methodologies and educational trends. Support students' social and emotional skills development by promoting positive behaviors and addressing individual needs. Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Possess a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., QTS or equivalent). At least 2 years of experience teaching in an EYFS setting. Strong knowledge of child development and effective early years pedagogies. Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with children and their families. Creative and energetic approach to teaching which encourages children's curiosity and enthusiasm for learning. Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment for all students.
