ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:

• Previous experience working within a school (mainstream or special) or within a day nursery
• EYFS experience and strong curriculum knowledge
• Minimum of Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning
• Experience supporting children with SEND
• The ability to build rapport with young learners
• The ability to work under the direction of the class teacher as well as using own initiative
• The ability to support small groups and on a 1:1 basis

PLEASE NOTE: THE POST HOLDER WILL BE ENGAGING IN REGULATED ACTIVITY, WORKING MAINLY OR WHOLLY WITH CHILDREN. THIS POSITION IS EXEMPT FROM THE REHABILITATION OF OFFENDER’S ACT 1974. IT IS AN OFFENCE TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU ARE BARRED FROM ENGAGING IN REGULATED ACTIVITY RELEVANT TO CHILDREN.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
