Are you a patient, caring and enthusiastic individual with experience in early years education? A supportive and well-established primary school in Worksop is looking to appoint a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team this September.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience working in an early years or primary school setting
• A warm, supportive and proactive attitude to learning support
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and child development
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• A relevant qualification (Level 2 or 3 in Childcare, Early Years or Teaching Support) is desirable

THE ROLE:

This full-time EYFS Teaching Assistant role involves working within a Nursery or Reception class, supporting the class teacher to deliver high-quality early years provision. You will help create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment while supporting children’s development through structured play and routine-based learning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the delivery of the EYFS curriculum through hands-on activities
• Assist with observation, assessment and recording of children’s progress
• Encourage positive behaviour, personal development and early communication skills
• Contribute to a nurturing, stimulating and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO and parents/carers
