A well-regarded and nurturing primary school in Mansfield is looking for a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team from September. If you’re passionate about supporting young children and enjoy working in a creative, play-based environment, this could be the perfect opportunity.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll be based in a Nursery or Reception classroom, supporting the class teacher and working closely with pupils as they explore and grow. From helping to deliver engaging activities to supporting individual children’s development, you’ll play a key part in their early learning journey.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Encouraging learning through guided play and purposeful activities
• Assisting with the delivery of the EYFS curriculum
• Observing and recording pupil progress and engagement
• Promoting emotional wellbeing and social development
• Helping to maintain a calm, safe and welcoming classroom
• Working in partnership with teaching staff, SENCO and families
